Asynchronous Tools
Aloha and welcome to the one stop shop for asynchronous tools for E-Learning.
Asynchronous Education:
Asynchronous education is primarily student driven method of learning at a distance, or primarily online. This is based on constructivism theory, or the idea that knowledge is gained from the interaction of their experiences and ideas. Asynchronous learning is student centered and emphasizes peer to peer interaction. Asynchronous learning breaks the barriers of time and location, as well as people of different time zones, or locations, being able to work around other obligations, such as family and work obligations.
